WELCOME BACK!!!! GOT GAME?
(Aurora, OH) Jimmy Svab sits at home wondering if this season will be a threepeat and back to back championship season. Our football pool is in its 18th season and Mr. Svab was the first to win more than one title and that occurred last season after Matt Nelson gagged down the stretch….What’s new/Important !!!!!!! ……...10 new teams, lost 2 teams…..4 new divisions, Stein, Pilsner, Schooner, and Fish Bowl…….Payouts for weekly best record is $100….Divisional Champions are $300…...Two Minute Warning Champion is $1000, second place is $500……...THE TIE BREAKER FOR WEEKLY BEST RECORD is the last game played on the week. For week 1 this year you would pick the total points without going over for the Arizona @ San Francisco game…..On week 17 there is no MNF so pick the total points without going over for the 8 pm Sunday Night game....WELCOME back Romak and Richards, both prior champions, Fred Krajewski, father of Beer Shed Bob Krajewski, ... Don Kraus, Joe “Angel” Gabriele, Rich “the Irish Ale Assassin” Sweeney, Jerry the actual Caterer of last years Super Bowl Party, Mike the Outlaw, in law, Geary, the new brother in law of Mike Czapor, Gary “the waiting” Gosiewski, who has been on the waiting list since 1873 and last but not least, Mike the Rout, Dout, who allegedly can pick some games. We’ll see…...

Two Minute Warning Football
Svab is Crowned Mr. Two Minute Warning, Wehrman captures 2nd!
Ferrara Goes for the victory and falls with the Bears!
(Aurora, OH) Jimmy Svab is our first member to win more than one Two Minute Warning Championship Title. As of today, Maria, his better half, will have to call Jimmy, two time defending Two Minute Warning champion instead of her pet name, dick weed. The Bears gave Jimmy a scare, returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, but just like Ohio State, the offense collapsed following that return and Indianapolis picked apart the Bears Defense. Meanwhile, back in Dayton, OH, Ken Wehrman oblivious to his fate, moved from the fifth position to second place because everyone thought those in front of them would take Indianapolis, so they selected Chicago. Doesn’t that remind everyone of last season when Mike Mates pulled a second place spot out of his arse when everyone assumed those in front of them selected the Steelers and took the Seahawks instead? Ken is enjoying his second place finish for the second time. Ken won the second spot a few years back, but he had to share it with Mike Czapor as they ended their season in a tie. After that season, we made the playoff games worth different amounts to try and avoid that from happening again. So far, it has worked out. …Let’s congratulate Jimmy Svab and Ken Wehrman as first and second place finishers. The rest of us will retool after the NFL Draft on April 28th and 29th!
